Look amazing, no matter how you celebrate V-Day

If you are a girly girl, or a hopeless romantic like me, then odds are you also love Valentine’s Day. I mean, a holiday all about pink, hearts, love, and chocolate!?! Sign me up!

Below, I show you the three must have looks for Valentine’s Day, in increasing formality. One for brunch with the girls for Galentine’s Day, one for the office, and one for date night.  I have also included look alike items all available on Amazon Prime…with plenty of time to shop and receive your looks before February 14th!

1. Galentine’s Day Brunch

Don’t know what Galentine’s Day is? Then you need to watch Parks and Rec (also because its just a fantastic show), where the main character, Leslie Knope celebrates Galentine’s Day each Valentine’s Day by going to brunch with all her favorite female friends and family to celebrate their friendship.

The perfect Galentine’s Day brunch outfit is casual, cute and comfortable all at the same time. I paired these stretchy cropped jeans I got from Stitch Fix with this adorable heart printed button down shirt. I finished this casual look with black flats and a bright red scarf.

2. Valentine’s Day at the Office

Most of the time of course, Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday. For me, that means I spend most of my Valentine’s day at work in the office. Pencil skirts are my favorite business casual wardrobe staple. So, I paired this solid red pencil skirt with a black and white gingham shirt. Throw on a statement blazer like this one to almost any outfit, and you get a power look for the office. I added my Gucci crossbody bag and favorite black and white heels to complete the look.

3. Valentine’s Date Night

Last but not least, Valentine’s Day date night outfit. Any excuse to wear gold sparkle and pink tulle together, and I am all for it. If you haven’t worn a tulle skirt as an adult, you must give it a try. It is so whimsical and fun! If the pink is a little over-the-top for you, then I suggest trying one in a more neutral shade, like black or gray.

I paired my beloved pink tulle skirt with a gold sequin tank and gold accessories, such as this gold cuff bracelet and gold beaded heels (that I also wore on my wedding day!). I finished this dressy date night look with a pink beaded clutch.

  1. I LOVE that date night outfit! I have quite a thing for tutus; in fact, I have never met a tutu that I didn’t like, so I might try to put this one together for date night. Thanks for sharing great ideas.
