3 Ways to Wear Camo

It is no secret that this season’s hottest print is CAMO! Just take a moment to scroll through instagram or walk into your nearest Target, and you will find camo everything!

My style is typically more feminine, with brighter colors or floral prints, but I am here for the camo trend. It is so easy to throw on a camo printed article of clothing, then walk out the door feeling like a total badass. Read on for my fashion tips for styling camo print, and for direct links to shop affordable options!

1. Camo on Bottom

My first style tip for wearing camo is to wear this print on the bottom. I am bottom heavy myself, and I find this dark colored pattern to be very wearable for us fat bottomed girls.

You can dress it up with a pair of camo print skinny jeans and nude heels, or dress it down with a pair of camo print joggers, like I did here. To keep from the entire look being too heavy, I paired the joggers with blush colored slip on tennies and a bright white long sleeve tee.

2. Camo on Top

My next style tip of course, is to wear camo on top! There are so many options in stores and online right now for camo shirts. Tank tops, henley shirts, long and short sleeve tee options are everywhere.

I combined the camo trend with the denim trend in this look. My shirt is a long sleeve tee I found at Marshalls. This jacket was purchased on Amazon. The denim jacket is soft and stretchy, which is a nice feature in a jacket. Once again, to lighten the look and keep it springy, I added my favorite pair of white skinny jeans.

3. Camo Jacket

The easiest way to incorporate the camo trend into your wardrobe is with a camo cargo/utility jacket. For this look, I kept the rest of it simple with a gray lightweight sweater and jeans, so that the camo jacket remained the star of the show. I love mixing prints though, so I also added my new favorite leopard print slip on tennies. If you want more tips on how to mix prints, be sure to Join the 5 Day New Wardrobe Challenge!
