How It Works

Rocksbox is a monthly subscription box for jewelry. It is a similar model to Stitch Fix. First, sign up for an account on the Rocksbox website. Next, complete a style quiz to give Rocksbox a better idea of your preferences. Then, browse their extensive catalog of jewelry, and add items to your Wishlist. Be sure to check back regularly, as new styles are added all the time!

When you are ready for your first “set”, pay $21 for the month. A stylist will then choose three jewelry items from your wishlist and/or matching your preferences from the style quiz. You will get an email saying that your set is ready. You can then choose to peek and see the three items chosen for you, and swap any out if you’d like, OR you can have them ship it out and be surprised when your set reaches your doorstep!

Then, wear and enjoy your jewelry as much as you’d like. If you want to keep any of the items, your $21 monthly fee goes toward the purchase of any items! And, if you choose to buy and keep all three items from your set, you get an additional $10 off the total amount. All items are priced at a discount from retail. Or, simply send back any of the items you do not want to purchase, and swap out for a new set. There is no limit to the number of swaps in any month!

Designers

Rocksbox carries a variety of jewelry designers, and are adding new designers all the time. They carry well-known designers like Alex and Ani, Kate Spade, and Kendra Scott; as well as lesser-known designers like Tess + Tricia, Nakamol, and Gorjana.

My Sets

This set came with a pair of mauve beaded earrings from Wilde, a pair of gold circle post earrings from Aster, and a turquoise bar necklace from Kate Spade. The Wilde earrings are available on the Rocksbox site in several other color options. I loved that these statement earrings were so lightweight! In the end, I purchased the Aster earrings. They were simple enough to be an everyday earring, but unique at the same time.

For this set, I was clearly feeling all things white! This was my favorite set so far from Rocksbox. The three-part stacking ring was GORGEOUS and looks so much more expensive than it is. In the end though, I sent the ring back because I already have an opal ring that is very similar. The Kendra Scott necklace is made with mother of pearl gemstones. It is blingy enough to be dressed up, but also simple enough to be dressed down. This was a winner. I also purchased the Aster hoop earrings. I did not own any hoop earrings, and I thought these would be great for summer.

This was the first set I received from Rocksbox. I wasn’t crazy about the gold rhinestone hoop earrings, so I sent those back. The dainty gold pineapple ring was super cute, and I debated purchasing it, but I ended up sending it back. My favorite item in this set was this pair of Ava Rose turquoise gemstone earrings. I am crazy about that turquoise color, so it was a definite purchase for me.

My current set includes two pairs of earrings and a bracelet. The first set of earrings are a bright pink enamel from Kendra Scott. I requested this pair to wear with a dress I rented from Rent the Runway for a wedding. The next pair of earrings are from Dusk. The gray/olive green gemstones will be perfect for the fall. Finally, I requested this rainbow crystal bracelet from Sophie Harper. I love that this bracelet can be adjusted fully. I have very small wrists and rarely wear bracelets because they are always big! I will definitely purchase this bracelet, and have yet to decide on the Dusk earrings. Should I get them?
